*Irish beer/foods*

*Beer*

The consumption of the beer a person of Ireland is the second place in the world after Czech Republic. By the way, Japan is twenty fifth. The amount is 2.5 times the Japanese.

In Ireland, the dark beer made from the upper fermentation that is called "Stout" seems to occupy about the half of the market.

There is the photo in right side:)

*Kilkenny*(kirukeny)

It is a feature of the beer of Ireland that there are a lot of beers with a fine creamy bubble. It seems to have been made originally in the church in Kilkenny in Ireland.

*Murphy's*(mafi-zu)

It is a black stout often drunk in an Irish southern part.

  BUNRATTY MEAD(ミード)

Sake of romantic sweetness that adds honey to whisky and brewed.

It is easy to drink from the liqueur of other whisky bases because an alcoholic frequency is wine.

*Irish Shephred Pie*

This pie is minced meat and the vegetable are stir-fried. And put the crushed potato on them and put in to the oven. You could also put some cheese:)

☆Let's go to Irish Pub☆

We went to a Irish Pub "Murphy's" in Shinsaibashi, and we took an interview to a shop man.

Of course, we have some good Irish foods and alcohols. We tried to drink three kind of beers, Gunness, Murphy's and Kilkenny. Gunness is a very popular Irish beer but, it was too bitter for us. We can not drink it so much. Kilkenny was bitter than Murphy's so, we like Murphy's it was the most of mild beer, we had in the Pub.

Ryo and Marie ordered Irish soda. We don't know it is a kind of an alchol drinks. We were very suprised. Lucy ordered a very furuty cocktail. It was very cute color and good taste. About food, we ordered a Shepherd's Pie, a Fish and Chips and Meet Pie which was recommended by shop man who was interviewed by us. These were wonderful delicious foods. We had an amazing time in this pub!!

Well, we must tell you about the interview which we took in the Pub. It was a good challenge to learn Ireland for us. This is a video of the interview. We asked a shop man about Irish pub in the video.

The history of Irish Pub

Irish Pub came into existence in 1688. Irish Pubs were a kind of lodging for Irish tradesmen in that time. Tradesmen trade with each other in Irish Pubs. Presently, Irish Pub has sold coffees, teas, tobaccos, wines and spices which were managed by tradesmen. In 18th century, beer was invented. Shortly, Irish Pub has since become Pub as this time. Afterward, owners of the Pubs have to have business license from the government, because management of an Irish Pub is a proud of job in Ireland. An Irish Pub is a center of local community place for the people. Therefore, the owners are a kind of a leader, organizer, and name of an area. For Japanese people, British Pubs are popular, but there are some differences between British Pubs and Irish Pubs. Most of British Pubs are managed by maker of beer or whisky company. On the other hand, most of Irish Pub’s owners manage their Pubs perfectly. That is to say owners of Irish Pubs run their Pubs base on their land and house. In Ireland, there are many old Pubs which have opened for 200 years. An owner of Irish Pub are not changed easily and people can not open a new pub store readily. It shows Irish Pub has taken root in the country and the people love them. Accordingly, they can protect the long history and the traditions.
